Up For Adoption

Whisper

Meet Whisper,

We would love to help whisper find her furever home. Unfortunately, her owner has passed and the person temporarily caring for her is unable to do so much longer due to health concerns. Willow does not get out much other than to do business so here’s to hoping we can find her a home where she can get out often, explore and experience the world.

Whisper is a 2 year old female Rottweiler weighing in at 110lbs. We are told she is a big sweetheart, very loving and enjoys cuddling up with people. She is not spayed as of yet, up to date on shots, is good with kids and has always been around small children. She is good with the other dog she lives with and those she is in regular contact with. She has not been tested much with unknown dogs as she does not get out much to socialize and hasn’t for awhile now. Because of this, she does not have good leash manners and is a big puller on walks. Whisper has been a chewer, likely out of boredom and will need some consistency and training to get her to her best.

We would like a large breed savvy home where Whisper will not be alone for several hours a day. We would prefer an active home, one that can get her out and about, is willing to be consistent with training and focussing on what she needs to help her get some manners. At 100 pounds, this could be challenging but she is young and with some time, consistency and a knowledgeable handler/family, she will grow and come a long way and likely fast. We prefer a home with a fenced yard and room to play.

If you or anyone you know feel like you’re a great fit for Whisper, please click the ‘Apply To Adopt’ tab on our homepage and fill in our online application.

Willow

Meet Willow

She is a 100 pound, 2.5 year old Rotti/Mastiff mix that when she warms up to you, is a very affectionate, loving girl that wants to be pet and touched.

Willow does lack social skills when it comes to other dogs and also lacks manners when on walks.  She is a strong and stubborn female that likes to pull and attempt to lead the walk and do what she wants and can be hard to rein in but within a half hour walk with an experienced and confident handler proved that with some consistency, leading and guidance, would be quick to learn the ropes for walks and gain manners. She is quick to listen to the sit command especially when on walks and coming to a cross walk.

She takes treats extremely gently but her size and want to get affection from friendly people has her pawing at people and can be intimidating.

She will need a consistent and confident handler, that is patient, has large breed knowledge and will not bring her to roam free at dog parks.  She has been in situations at dog parks that make her really uneasy around strange and unknown dogs but we feel that with time, patience and slow introductions, she can improve.

While Willow is currently exposed to the hustle and bustle of a large family, we would recommend a family with older dog savvy children rather than young children and toddlers. We prefer a home where she would be the only dog and require people willing to invest and focus on her and what she needs.

We have so much more information to offer so if you or anyone you know is interested in fostering or adopting Willow, please click the ‘Apply To Adopt’ tab at the top of our homepage and fill in the online application. If you would like more information, please inquire either through the contact form on the website or by email at anmlresq@hotmail.com.

Havoc

Introducing Havoc. Isn’t he handsome ????

He is a 7 yr old American bulldog/beagle mix.

Havoc is a very sweet boy who is loyal and loving. He is very uncomfortable around small children. His family has recently had a baby and Havoc has spent a lot of time in his crate since baby arrived. Family knows this isn’t fair to Havoc. Havoc has been going to dog parks for exercise but has been attacked a couple of times now through no fault of his own which has made him a little untrusting of some dogs. A slow and proper introduction would be needed.

We are looking for a foster or forever home for sweet Havoc.

If you or anyone you know would be a good fit, click the ‘Apply To Adopt’ tab on our homepage and fill in our online application.

Gabby

Not a day goes by that those in rescue are made aware of a pup in dire need.  Today is no exception.    We are urgently looking for a foster family who can help us help Gabby.  She is a sweet one year old Rottweiler with extremely severe hip dysplasia.  Gabby is in pain and must undergo hip replacement surgery asap.

We can do this for her but we are urgently looking for a family to foster her post surgery.

If you or anyone you know would like to foster her post surgery, please click the ‘Apply To Adopt’ tab at the top of our homepage and fill in our online application.

Snoopy

Age: 9 years

Breed: Bulldog X

Background: Snoopy was recently brought to the shelter after his family found they had no time for Snoopy. He was feeling a little lost and confused since coming to the shelter and thankfully a foster family stepped up for him. Now Snoopy is hoping to find a new home where he can spend his golden years.

Personality: Snoopy is a gentle and affectionate dog who loves nothing more than being by your side. He has a calm and relaxed demeanor, but he also has a playful side that comes out whenever he sees a tennis ball or a squeaky toy.

He’s great with people of all ages, and he enjoys the company of other dogs as well as long as they don’t bully him.  A calm female companion would be ideal.

Ideal Home: Snoopy would do best in a home with someone who can give him plenty of love, attention, and patience.

A quiet and peaceful environment with a fenced in yard to run around in would be ideal for him. Snoopy would also benefit from someone who can take him on leisurely walks to help keep him fit and healthy.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will cherish every moment with you, Snoopy is your guy.

Don’t let his age fool you – he still has a lot of love and light to give, and he can’t wait to be a part of your family.

If you or someone you know feel you would be a good fit for Snoopy, please head over to our website (Link In Bio) and fill in our online application.

Xena

Meet Xena,

She is a beautiful 5 year old shepherd who is looking for a new home.

She is a great social dog, good with kids, dogs and cats as you can see.

She is up to date on shots and will need to be spayed.

Xena suffers from chorinic ear infections, for anyone that has had a dog with this, it can be easily managed with strict routine of cleaning and potentially meds. We would also want to test to see if the infections are allergy related.

If you think you can help give Xena a second chance, please click the ‘Apply To Adopt’ tab on our home page and fill in our online application.

Midnight

He is a very sweet one year old lab mix who is looking for a new home.Similar story as many other in rescue/shelters right now – “bought” during COVID, no time or patience to train a puppy properly and now can’t handle him.

If you are looking for an older “puppy” and don’t want to deal with all the regular puppy drama, he’s your boy!

If you are interested in learning more – please contact us and or click the ‘Apply To Adopt’ tab on our homepage and fill in our online application.

Shadow

Quote from her family “. She has a heart of gold and her love of naps is just as deep as her love for the people she trusts. She deserves the best this world can offer her and it breaks every inch of my soul to have to do this.”

If you can open your heart and home to Shadow. Please click the ‘Apply To Adopt’ tab at the top of our homepage and fill in our online application.
