Meet King – Available
Seven years old, neutered, fully vaccinated, 100% Rottweiler and 100% convinced the couch belongs to him.
King is a big, strong, handsome boy with a huge love for people and a personality to match. He’s a total couch potato, loves car rides, swimming, playing tug-of-war, chasing his ball, being brushed, and believe it or not, being vacuumed! He also loves being involved in whatever his people are doing. If there’s a job to help with, King is pretty sure he’s the guy for it.
He has excellent recall and good manners, coming when called about 99% of the time. He’s also wonderful with big and small dogs and loves to be the centre of attention. He is very typical of his breed and does have some quirks that his future family will need to understand and manage.
King has a high prey drive, so he needs a home with no cats, or other small animals. He would do best with older children, 14+, simply because King is a very strong boy who sometimes forgets just how big he is.
He can pull on leash, so continued leash training would be beneficial. A quick correction can get his attention, but he’ll need a confident, breed savvy handler who is willing to keep working with him.
King also has some strong opinions about lawnmowers and tractors. If one is running nearby, he’d much rather hang out in a quiet room with his favourite human. He can absolutely be left alone as long as that noisy lawnmower stays out of sight!
He does have a history of food guarding, so this is something his new family will need to understand and responsibly manage.
And then there’s King’s favourite hobby: making sure nobody leaves without saying goodbye. He takes his job as your personal security detail very seriously and may have a few creative ideas about when you’re actually allowed to go. His future family will need to work with him on this in a calm, positive way.
King would love a fenced yard or a country home with plenty of room to stretch his legs, and most importantly, he needs a Rottweiler/breed-savvy home that understands his strength, personality and quirks.
He may be stubborn. He may mouth. He may steal the couch and refuse to vacate his throne. He may have some very strong opinions about lawn equipment.
But he LOVES his people, loves to play, loves to swim, loves his ball, loves his adventures—and underneath all those big Rottie opinions is a big hearted boy looking for his forever person.

Meet Bane – An Intelligent Young Rottweiler Looking for the Right Match – Available
Bane is an 11-month-old male Rottweiler with a big heart and a unique way of experiencing the world—he was born congenitally deaf. Despite this challenge, Bane has learned to communicate exceptionally well using visual cues and e-collar vibration, and he already knows commands such as sit, down, and come.
Bane is affectionate with the people he knows and trusts. He enjoys spending time with his family, loves chewing on sticks and durable chew toys, and is always happy for mealtime. He is house-trained, crate-trained, rides well in the car, and has completed professional obedience training. He thrives on routine and responds best to calm, consistent handling.
Like many deaf dogs, Bane can startle easily if approached unexpectedly, particularly from behind. He also has significant resource guarding around food, high-value treats, and certain toys. Unfortunately, these behaviors have resulted in two bite incidents that occurred while he was being handled during medical care. Because of his behavioral needs, Bane requires an experienced adopter who understands canine body language, resource guarding, and positive management techniques.
Bane has done well with other dogs when introductions are slow and on his terms. He has shown little interest in cats while on walks. Due to his history and unpredictability around children, he is seeking an adult-only home.
Bane’s ideal home would include:
* An experienced, confident dog owner, preferably with Rottweiler or working-breed experience.
* A quiet, structured home without children.
* A securely fenced yard.
* Someone committed to continuing his training using visual communication and consistent routines.
* A family willing to manage his resource guarding and advocate for his unique needs.
Bane is a bright, loyal young dog with tremendous potential in the right environment. He isn’t the right fit for every home, but for an experienced adopter willing to invest in him, Bane has the opportunity to become a deeply devoted companion.
Special considerations:
* Congenitally deaf.
* House-trained and crate-trained.
* Professionally obedience trained.
* Best suited to an adult-only home.
* Slow introductions to new dogs recommended.
* Requires experienced handling and continued behavioral management.
The right person won’t see Bane’s deafness or challenges as limitations they’ll see a deserving young dog who simply needs someone willing to understand him. please click the ‘Apply To Adopt’ tab at the top of our homepage and fill in our online application.
Meet Balto – Available
Balto is a handsome 5-year-old Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix who is ready to find a loving home where he can continue to thrive and be his best self.
Balto is up to date on his vaccines, house trained, and knows his basic commands including sit, stay, down, come, and drop it and will be neutered once we find a foster or adoptive home. He’s moderately active, playful, curious, and has a big personality. He’s also quite the talker and will happily let you know what he’s thinking!
What Balto loves:
• Playing with ropes and sticks
• Exploring fields and new places
• Following his nose — he is VERY scent driven
• Spending time with his family and people he knows
• Going on adventures and exploring the outdoors
Balto can be reserved and standoffish with strangers, but once he knows and trusts you, he is friendly and affectionate with family and friends. He is most comfortable around women and has shown an aversion to men, so he would do best with adopters who understand that he may need time, patience, and a slow introduction while building trust.
Balto has not had much socialization with other dogs, so his compatibility with other dogs is unknown and would need to be carefully assessed. With the household cat, he has been both playful and indifferent, so a cat savvy home and appropriate introductions would be important.
Balto has a few quirks that his future family should know about. He doesn’t like his feet being touched, isn’t a fan of swimming or water, and can pull on walks at first, although he tends to loosen up as the walk continues. He is not crate trained. He can also be excited in the car initially, but settles down during longer trips.
Balto currently takes anti-anxiety supplements to help him stay comfortable and relaxed.
Balto needs someone who will be patient, consistent, and willing to let him build trust at his own pace. He would thrive with a family who enjoys getting outside, exploring, and giving him opportunities to use his incredible nose. A calm, understanding home where his boundaries are respected would be ideal.
Balto isn’t looking for a perfect person, he’s looking for his person. Someone willing to understand him, earn his trust, and show him that he finally has a safe place to call home.
If you think you could be the right forever family for Balto, please click the ’Apply To Apply’ tab at the top of our home page and fill in our online application.
Meet Jojo – Available
Jojo is a beautiful 3 year old Rottweiler looking for a patient, experienced family who understands the breed and is committed to helping her thrive. She is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and ready to start her next chapter.
Jojo is moderately active, playful, affectionate, and enjoys the quiet life. With the people she knows and trusts, she is loving, loyal, and happiest spending time with her family. She can be shy around strangers and has a natural guard dog personality, making her a devoted companion who takes her job of watching over her home seriously.
Having spent her life on a farm with the freedom to roam, Jojo is still adjusting to walking on a leash and currently pulls quite hard. She knows sit, stay, down, come, and drop it, but would benefit from continued work on her recall and loose-leash walking.
Jojo has not been well socialized and can bark and lunge when she sees unfamiliar dogs. Although she previously lived with another dog, she would do best as the only dog in her new home. She also enjoys chasing cats, so a cat free home is a must.
Jojo has always lived in a quiet household with two senior adults and would do best in a calm adult only home without children. She is house trained but not crate trained. Like many dogs, she’s not a fan of veterinary visits or having her nails trimmed, so she’ll need an owner who is patient and willing to continue building her confidence through positive reinforcement.
Jojo is searching for a breed savvy home with a securely fenced yard where she can safely enjoy the outdoors. With understanding, structure, and love, she has all the potential to become an incredibly loyal and devoted companion.
If you’re looking for a faithful best friend and are ready to give Jojo the guidance she deserves, she may be waiting just for you. Please click the ‘Apply To Adopt’ tab on our homepage and fill in our online application.

With the people he knows and trusts, Max is incredibly affectionate and happiest when he’s soaking up attention, he truly believes he’s a lap dog! He’s loyal, playful, and loves spending time with his family.
While he can be shy and a little stand-offish when meeting new people, he warms up with patience and proper introductions.
Max has been around children and has done well with them. He is house trained and knows basic commands, including sit, stay, down, and come. He enjoys going for walks, although he can be strong on leash and will benefit from continued leash training.
Max does not do well with other dogs and has never been around cats, so he would do best as the only pet in the home. He is not crate trained but has good manners in the house.

In return, you’ll gain a loyal best friend who will happily shower you with love and keep you company every step of the way.

Meet Moose – Available
Moose is a handsome 6 year old old German Shorthaired Pointer/Husky mix looking for his forever family!
This affectionate, social boy loves people and enjoys spending time with family, friends, and visitors alike. Moose is a talkative guy who isn’t shy about sharing his thoughts and loves being included in daily life. Whether it’s a walk around the neighbourhood, a car ride adventure, or cuddling, Moose is happiest when he’s with his people.
Moose is moderately active and would enjoy an active family that can provide regular walks and opportunities to stretch his legs. He is used to having access to a fenced yard where he can run and play at his leisure, though we would consider homes without a fenced yard if they can meet his exercise needs.
He gets along well with most dogs and cats and has been around respectful young children without any issues. If he needs a break, Moose is great at taking space for himself and relaxing quietly.
Moose is house trained, crate trained, and knows several basic commands including sit, stay, down, and come. While he can get excited during walks, he redirects easily and isn’t a strong puller on leash. He’s also an excellent passenger in the car, making him a wonderful companion for adventures near and far.
Like many dogs, Moose is afraid of thunderstorms and fireworks, so he’ll appreciate a family that can help him feel safe during noisy events. He also has a high prey drive and may occasionally indulge in a little digging, so appropriate supervision and enrichment are important.
Some of Moose’s favourite things include:
• Playing with balls and stuffed toys
• Chewing on bones and treats
• Going for walks
• Running and exploring
• Cuddling with his favourite people
Moose is up to date on his vaccinations and ready to find a family to call his own.
While a fenced yard is preferred, we encourage all interested applicants to apply even if your home doesn’t check every box. The perfect match isn’t always what it looks like on paper, and Moose may just be the companion you’ve been searching for.
If you or anyone you know can help, please click the ‘Apply To Adopt’ tab at the top of our homepage and fill in our online application.
Meet Halle – Available
Halle is a beautiful 1 year old Rottweiler mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This affectionate, playful girl loves being close to her people and firmly believes she’s a lap dog, despite her size! Whether she’s snuggling on the couch, exploring the dog park, or playing with her favorite humans, Halle approaches life with enthusiasm and joy.
Halle is up to date on her vaccinations, house trained, crate trained, and knows several basic commands including sit, stay, come, and drop it. She’s an intelligent young dog who is eager to learn and would benefit from continued training and structure as she matures.
Like many young dogs, Halle plays hard and can be a little exuberant. She sometimes jumps up when excited, pulls on leash when overstimulated, and can become vocal when separated from her people. She is also a chewer when bored or under stimulated, so she’ll do best with an active family committed to providing regular exercise, enrichment, and guidance.
Halle is friendly and loving with her family and trusted friends but can be shy around strangers, especially men. She is most comfortable with women, children, and teenagers, though with patience and proper introductions she does warm up to men over time.
Her ideal home would have a fenced yard and an active family that can keep up with her energy level. She would thrive as the only dog in the home, but may also do well with a calm, well trained male dog who can help model good behaviour. Because of her size, strength, and breed mix, we’d love to see her with a Rottweiler-savvy family and older, respectful children or teens.
Halle is still growing into the amazing dog she’s meant to be. She doesn’t need a perfect family just one willing to invest time, patience, and love into helping her become her best self. In return, you’ll gain a loyal, affectionate companion who will keep you laughing, cuddling, and feeling loved every single day.
We encourage all interested adopters to apply, even if you don’t perfectly match every item on Halle’s wish list. The right home is one that sees her potential and is ready to help her shine.

Meet Storm – Your New Playful Companion! – Available
Storm is a 4 year old Bully Mix with a heart full of love and energy! Unfortunately, her current family is no longer able to care for her, and she’s searching for a new home where she can thrive and share her playful nature.
She’s active, loves to play, and is always ready to show affection with her favorite humans (she’s a big fan of giving kisses!). Storm is well-trained, knows commands like “sit,” “stay,” “come,” and “drop it,” and she’s both house-trained and crate-trained. While she enjoys attention and affection, she’s not a fan of being picked up.
She’s good with teenagers, adults, and seniors and has been great with cats in her previous home. Storm can play a little rough with large dogs but is untested with small dogs. We’re unsure how she’d interact with young children, but she’s always been a friendly girl with her human companions!

Meet Bruno – A Loyal and Loving Companion! – Available
Bruno is a 3 year old male Miniature Australian Shepherd who is searching for a new home where he can thrive and be the center of attention. Unfortunately, Bruno has become anxious and reactive toward the other dog in his current home, which has led to conflicts and an unpleasant environment for both dogs and their family.
Bruno is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and currently receiving treatment for his anxiety with Reconcile. He is moderately active, playful, and affectionate, and he’s friendly with strangers and family/friends. Bruno is also talkative and enjoys socializing, but due to his anxiety, he has developed some fearful behaviors and occasional aggression. He has shown aversion to children and people wearing hats, so an adult-only household without children is a must. Bruno needs to be the only pet in the home no cats or other dogs so he can enjoy the attention he craves and feel comfortable.
Bruno understands basic commands such as “sit,” “stay,” “come,” and “down.” He may pull on the leash occasionally but is easily corrected. He’s used to running freely in a fully fenced backyard, so a home with a similar setup would be ideal for him to get the exercise he loves.
