Meet Mila – Available
Mila is a beautiful 2-year-old Alaskan Husky/Yellow Lab mix who is ready to find her foster home. When she is in foster care, we will need to get to know her better. Mila absolutely loves cuddles and being close to her people.
She gets along well with other dogs, enjoys going for walks and walks well on lead. Mila is crate trained and does well settling in her crate. She is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations so she’s healthy and ready to go home.
Because of her drive, Mila will need a home without cats. She would also do best in a home without young children, where she can have a calm, structured environment to help her thrive.
Mila is a sweet, affectionate girl and we’re excited to keep learning about her. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving dog who enjoys both adventure and snuggles, Mila may be the perfect fit for you.
Should you or anyone you know be interested in fostering or fostering with intent to adopt Mila, please click the ‘Apply To Adopt’ tab at the top of our homepage and fill in our online application.
Meet Joe – Available
**UPDATE** While we are still accepting applications, Joe is currently on hold as his family takes some time to navigate this difficult transition. Letting go is never easy, and we appreciate everyone’s patience and compassion as they do what’s best for him.
Joe is a young Rottweiler born August 6, 2025, and we are searching for an experienced person who will make the commitment to train him to be the dog we feel he has the potential to become.
Joe exhibited the drive and desire to learn during his recent stay of 10 days with a trainer for an assessment and care. Joe is eager and will thrive with the right leadership.
Every dog is different, through lack of understanding and misguided direction his present owner has experienced 3 situations involving resource guarding of food and objects.
Re-programming was started while in the care of the Trainer which should be continued with his new owner while they work on trust and respect with continuous consistent training.
Because of this, Joe will require an experienced home, specifically someone familiar with large breeds and Rottweilers.
Joe will do best in a home that provides:
– Structure, consistency, and clear boundaries
– Ongoing training and mental engagement
– An experienced and confident large breed handler
– No young children
Joe is not neutered and is due for his final vaccine which will be taken care of.
A puppy, in the right hands he has the potential to become a loyal, focused, and well-balanced companion. If you’re an experienced Rottweiler owner looking for a dog you can truly invest in and grow with, Joe may be the right match.
Joe is up for adoption and not foster so if you or anyone you know are interested in adopting Joe, please click the ‘Apply To Adopt’ tab at the top of our homepage and fill in our online application.
Mama Bear – Adoption Pending
This sweet lady was found as a stray and taken in by own of our volunteers. After working with TAS to find her owner, no one came forward to claim her.
She is absolutely lovely, she might have been used for breeding because she is just now figuring out toys and how to play. She is housetrained and walks well on leash. She has been great with all dogs and humans. She was in a home with cats and had no reaction. She is very affectionate and just wants to curl up and cuddle.
Mama Bear is around 3 years old and will need to be spayed (we will take care of that prior to adoption).
If you are interested in fostering or adopting this wonderful girl, please fill in our online application listed under the ‘Apply To Adopt’ tab on our home page.
Louna – Adoption Pending
Meet Louna – A Gentle Soul Looking for Her Forever Home
Louna is an 8-month-old pup with a heart full of love and a deep longing for a place to truly call home. Weighing just 40 pounds, she’s a small girl with big potential — but she needs the right family to help her blossom.
Louna is shy around strangers and needs a little time and patience to feel safe. Once she trusts you, her sweet and playful side begins to shine. She loves playing with other dogs and even cats — though her enthusiasm can sometimes be a bit much! A confident, cat-savvy feline or a balanced dog companion would be ideal, especially if boundaries are clearly set.
She can live with another dog, particularly one who knows how to hold their ground, but she does have a tendency to guard her things. With good resource management and guidance, she’ll thrive in a multi-pet home.
Louna is looking for a calm, committed family who will offer her the time, structure, and encouragement she needs to feel secure and confident. In return, she promises a lifetime of loyalty, playfulness, and love.
This girl’s potential is just waiting to be unlocked. Could you be the one to show her how it feels to truly belong?
If you are interested in fostering or fostering with intent to adopt, please fill in an application listed under the ‘Apply To Adopt’ tab on our homepage.
