Happy Tails 2025
As 2025 comes to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on a year filled with incredible activity, unexpected challenges, remarkable outcomes and to say THANK YOU.
This year brought an unprecedented number of inquiries for dogs in need of rescue. While we always prepare to cover the basic veterinary needs for every dog that enters our program including vaccinations, spay or neuter, microchipping, blood work, check-ups, medications and food, 2025 pushed us far beyond what we consider “normal”. We saw a significant increase in special and complex cases ranging from emergency veterinary visits to major specialty procedures including a double hip replacement surgery. In 2025, the cost associated with the intake of a dog into our program ranged from $1500-$2500 per dog for spay/neuter, microchipping, vet care and providing our foster homes with food, treats and essential supplies. For our most complex cases, costs climbed to nearly $30,000 for a double hip replacement surgery. These figures do not include additional expenses such as overnight kennel stays or professional trainers required for assessments. The financial commitment this year was immense but the results were extraordinary.
Because of your generosity through donations and participation in our fundraisers, countless dogs who were abandoned, sick or injured are now safe, healthy and living the happy lives they deserve. Your support turned hardship into hope and made healing possible. We truly could not have done this without the incredible community that stands behind us. Every act of kindness, every contribution and every shared belief in our mission made rescue possible. You are the reason these dogs now have a future.
As we look ahead to 2026, we hope to save many more lives and continue this vital work with the same determination and compassion. We remain deeply grateful for the supportive community we are so fortunate to experience.

Our 2022 Happy Tails Video is now complete. It was a great year, we always want to be able to help more but are so thankful for all we were able to accomplish. We would like to thank all of you for everything you’ve done and continue to do to support our journey.

Rescue never stopped and today, we are happy to share a video of the Happy Tails from 2021 that can eat, play, sleep, grow, learn, live and feel what it’s like to have an abundance of love and care in the best homes they could ask for.
