ANML-RESQ began in 2005 when the province was starving for dog rescues and the Pitbull Ban was coming into effect. The four of us met while working with different rescue groups and after a short time, we became a tight knit group of friends that shared the same goal and wanted to do rescue a little differently. We started out with the focus on Pitbull and Rottweiler rescue but quickly expanded into an all breed rescue as the demand to save dogs grew at an unexpected rate. Over the years, we have welcomed some of the most incredible volunteers we could ask for. After building a team filled with like minded individuals, all fighting for the same result, we grew our passion into an Ontario wide rescue. We have a team full of trainers, interviewers, groomers, foster families, assessors, transporters, webmaster, a boarding kennel and numerous different volunteers who are willing to assist with our fundraiser events and everything else that comes along with rescue. We are proud to say that ANML-RESQ Network Of Ontario has been and continues to be successful for over 16 years and thanks to every one of you who assist and are willing to go the extra mile with our continued goal which is to save every dog possible, one step at a time.
We are proud to be a registered charity and would like you to know that all donations to ANML-RESQ go towards the spay, neuter, vaccinations and micro chipping of all animals, prior to adoption. We are 100% volunteer based and all funds are solely used for the benefit of the dogs entrusted in our care. We would like to thank you all for assisting and standing by us on our journey.
