Well….Another great fundraiser in the books.  A huge thanks to everyone that assisted with the success of this quilt auction.  Thanks to Linda, Renee, Darlene and Karen for their hard work organizing and planning this event for a flawless execution. Thanks to Karen for holding down the bids and Facebook page with the online auction and while working the in person.  Debbie for bringing the octopus and helping out.  Another big thanks goes out to Darlene Hill, Anne Smith (Oakville & Milton Humane Society), Donna Gordon, Agnes Jackson and Donna Thompson for their hard work in crafting the amazing quilts we all got to see, bid on and win.  Thanks to Sara for bringing Samoa out to the show.  Although I didn’t get to meet him yet, I can tell in his face that he’s sad the auction is over.  Either that or tired of his picture being taken.  Either way, there’s always next year bud. Should I have missed anyone in my list of names, please advise as I would love to make your involvement known. We are thrilled to advise that the beautiful 9 year old Miniature Pinscher named Katara that came into our program back in June has now been adopted.  Thanks to all that inquired, applied and assisted with her transition into our program, her stay and her adoption.

We are so excited to say that Ned has been adopted.  He is now in the perfect, furever home where his family will be dedicated to his enrichment, training, exercising and keeping a structured environment all while keeping him safe.  This is a Happy Tails story for sure and we thank all involved with his foster and adoption process.

Well we couldn’t get this sweet boy out of our minds and one of our amazing fosters stepped up and he is now in our program. He has been in foster care since December 31/2020 and we are learning more about him and working towards getting his skin issue under control .

Jan 10/2021 – Benson has been doing amazing in his foster home.  He is very good with other dogs and is such a happy boy.

Feb 7/2021 – Benson continues to thrive in his foster home. He is so great with people and dogs, has not been tested with cats yet but we are learning more about him every day.  We are looking for a forever home for this special boy, so if you feel you are the perfect fit for Benson, please click the ‘Apply To Adopt’ tab in our menu options and fill in our online application.

Feb 27/2020 – Benson is currently on a half dry/half raw food diet which is helping and as you can see by the pictures, his fur is growing in nicely.

Brooklyn is a sweet little Yorkie Poo that Karen personally had the joy of fostering.  She was clearly used as a breeding dog by a backyard breeder.  Now she is living the dream and getting tons of love from her new mommy.  

Georgie is the smallest Chi we have ever seen, a whole 3 pounds!  Darlene had the pleasure of caring for this handsome boy and everyone who met this little one fell completely in love. He has now found his forever home.

Thanks to everyone involved with the successful transfer, foster and adoptions of these two gems.
