Otis Update - Well our little man Otis has settled in very nicely in his foster home.
He has 2 beautiful fur-sisters who adore him.

Foster mom says he is doing quite well although he's had a bit of a flare-up with his skin so he will be going on a raw diet to see how that works for him.

We are so happy we could help this dear boy. Huge thanks to foster mom Kym for welcoming Otis into their hearts and home.

Quilt Fundraiser - A little less than 2 weeks for the draw of this BEAUTIFUL quilt!!

If you haven’t got your tickets yet, there is still time.ANML-RESQ was asked by a shelter to help this sweetheart of a girl. Sadly, she was found in this horrendous condition, tied to a post. A kind Samaritan found her and immediately brought her to the shelter.

This sweet girl has a lot of fight in her ... among other things, she was extremely underweight, had numerous litters and worst of all she had an extremely uncomfortable medical condition called prolapsed uterus. Poor girl could not even sit comfortably.

We had to wait until she gained some weight before we could spay her and at the same time we would also have surgery to correct her prolapsed uterus done. The hardest part was waiting for her to gain even the smallest amount of weight, but she did!! She was 39 lbs. when she arrived at the shelter and since in foster care she has gained a whole 10 lbs. We are so proud of our Princess Kate – she has come a long way but still has a ways to go before she is completely healthy.

In honour of our Princess Kate we have been given the most beautiful quilt to raffle so we can recoup some of Kate’s medical bills.

If you are interested in purchasing tickets you can send an email transfer to Please also include your name and address as well as a notation that you are purchasing Quilt Tickets for Princess Kate.

Payment can also be made through Paypal which can be found on the homepage of our website

Draw date closes August 31, 2017 and monies for tickets must be received 5 days prior to the draw date.

Otis Update - I am sure many of you have seen this look before. This is the look of a dog on his freedom ride into a foster home.

Yes, Otis is finally in a foster home and will be on his way to good health. He spent a few months at the shelter and they gave him an amazing start to help with his skin issues. He also has entropian which was temporarily repaired but will need to be permanently fixed and this will be happening in the very near future.

Right now he is having a blast with his two fur-sisters. He has a nice big yard to run and play and we think the girls really love him (-:

Thank you to ALL who have reached out to offer help for Otis. We want you all to know he is now safe and really enjoying his freedom.

We also received another picture of our recently flown out girl Raisin, now known as Sady with her sister Layla whom we flew out just before Christmas last year. We could not be happier for these two.

Ricky Update - We are thrilled to announce that our boy Ricky has been ADOPTED!!! It has been a long road for Ricky to get back to health. If you recall when he first arrived his skin was in horrid condition. It was so bad that the vet would not even consider neutering him.

Thanks to his AMAZING foster Jennifer and Family they turned this boys life around. Many, many trips to the vet while we tried to figure out how to help Ricky heal. Finally his skin was in good enough shape to neuter. While figuring out his allergies and the correct medication took many, many months, his foster family never flinched.

No doubt it was a very bitter-sweet day for Jennifer and Family as Ricky has been with them for many, many months.

Huge thanks to Jennifer, Jeff and previously adopted Bear who welcomed Ricky into the family and took such amazing care of him.
Congratulations Ricky, Vicki and Bob!
